2. Connect the three-phase AC power motor leads to the U/T1, V/T2, and
W/T3 output power terminals.
– Frame 3A Combined Converter/Inverter Power Module: For
terminal locations, see Figure 3.18
and Figure 3.25.
– Frame 3A Dual Inverter Power Module: For terminal locations, see
Figure 3.18
and Figure 3.26.
– Frame 3B Separate Converter Power Module: For terminal locations,
see Figure 3.21
and Figure 3.27.
Tighten the AC output power terminal connections to the proper torque
as shown in Table 3.C

Installing Control Wiring
from the Input Filter Bay to
the Power Module Bay
This section provides details on control wiring between the Input Filter Bay
and the Power Module Bay. When a Frame 3A or 3B Complete Drive has
been ordered, wiring from the Input Filter Bay to the Power Module Bay
was completed at the factory. In this case, this section can be used as
verification or reference for installation or maintenance.
Frame 3A Drives
Connect wiring to terminals in accordance with Table 3.D, Table 3.A,
Table 3.E
, Figure 3.29, and the Frame 3A drive schematic on page C-2 or
page C-4
.
Frame 3B Drives
Connect wiring to terminals in accordance with Table 3.D, Table 3.A,
Table 3.E
, Figure 3.30, and the Frame 3B drive schematic on page C-10 or
page C-12
.

ATTENTION: Risk of equipment damage exists. Do not use
power module terminal blocks TB5-1 and TB5-3 to connect any
type of power wiring for auxiliary equipment. These terminals are
for low amperage control wiring only.

ATTENTION: Do not route signal and control wiring with
power wiring in the same conduit. This can cause interference
with drive operation. Failure to observe this precaution could
result in damage to, or destruction of, the equipment.
