Subsection 01 (STEERING SYSTEM)
Apply Loctite antiseize lubricant (P/N 293 800 070)
on pivot bolt no. 39.
CAUTION: Make sure antiseize lubricant does
not come in contact with threads of bolt.
Apply Loctite 271 (red) (P/N 293 800 005) on
threads of jam nut no. 3.
Apply Loctite 243 (blue) (P/N 293 800 060) in
adjustment handle no. 1 and on threaded pivots
no. 42.

Install handlebar support no. 40 to steering stem
no. 38 andsecurewithpivotboltno. 39.Apply
Loctite 271 (red) (P/N 293 800 005) on threads of
nut no. 51 theninstallnutandtorqueto26N•m
(19 lbf•ft).

3. Locking tie
Ensure wire harness is properly secured to han-
dlebar support with a locking tie.

Handlebar
GTX Supercharged Limited Models Only
Before installing handlebar, position stopper
no. 27 and rubber pad no. 26.
CAUTION: Rubber pad must not exceed stop-
per.
