revolution.
FBGMS
The conversion factor of the fieldbus device’s ge a r shaft
revolution.
6 .8 Current Foldback
The current foldback is a mechanism used by CDHD to protect the drive and
mot or from overheating due to excessive current. Current foldback is set
independently for the drive and for the m ot or.
Current foldback limits the root mean square (rms) value of current to the drive
and/ or the m ot or.
When the motor is select ed from the ServoStudio Mot or Library, current
foldback param eters are pre-set and written to the drive. These parameters are
m anufacturer-defined and should not be manipulated by the user; if you want to
m ake any changes t o these param eters, contact Technical Support.
Use the ServoStudio Cu r re n t Foldba ck task screen for viewing and configuring
m otor and drive foldback parameters.
The following param eters are used to monitor and manipulate foldback
properties.
