The 7-segm ent display provides various indications of drive status, such as
operation modes, drive enable status, and fault conditions.
I n general, the display uses the following conventions:
De cim al point – Indicates the drive’s Enable/ Disable status; if displayed,
the drive is enabled.
St ea dily lit digit – I ndicates the operation mode (OPMODE) currently in
effect .
St ea dily lit let te r – I ndicates a warning.
Fla shin g – I ndicates a fault.
Se qu en t ial display of let t er s and digit s – Indicates a fault , with som e
except ions:
A t 1 indicates m otor phasing (MOTORSETUP) is in progress.
L1 , L2 , L3 , L4 indicate the state of software and hardware lim it
switches.
S1 is a warning.
A digit flashing at half-second intervals during encoder initialization,
indicates the operation mode (OPMODE) currently in effect.
In the event of concurrent faults, only one fault code is displayed on the
7-segm ent display. The display shows the code of the fault with the highest
priority.
The functionalit y of the 7-segment display can be changed by m eans of the
VarCom param eter DI SPLAYMODE.
DI SPLAYMODE= 0
Serial com munication operation modes are displayed.
Default setting.
DI SPLAYMODE= 1 Fieldbus operation modes are displayed
DI SPLAYMODE= 2 Node I Ds are displayed.
