6 .9 Digit a l I nput s
The CDHD has eight regular opto-isolated inputs and three fast opto-isolated
inputs.
Regular I/ Os have a propagation delay in t he range of several microseconds
to several tens of m icroseconds.
Fast I / Os have a sub-m icrosecond propagation delay.
Use the ServoStudio Digita l I Os task screen t o configure and view the state of
the digital inputs.
The following param eters are used t o configure and m onit or the digital inputs.

I N Reads the state of a specified digital input.
I NPUTS Reads the state of all digital inputs.
I NMODE Defines the functionality of the digital input.
I NI NV I nverts the polarit y of a specified input .
ServoStudio includes a D rive Scr ipt tool for program ming instructions for digital
inputs. These scripts can modify drive behavior while a m achine is in operation,
such as increasing or reducing acceleration, initiating a m ovem ent, setting a
variable, or swit ching operation m odes. Refer to the section in the ServoStudio
m anual,

6 .1 0 Digital Output s
The CDHD AP and AF m odels have four regular opto-isolated outputs and two
fast opto-isolated output s. The CDHD EC and EB m odels have six regular opto-
isolated outputs.
Regular I/ Os have a propagation delay in the range of several microseconds
to several tens of m icroseconds.
Fast I / Os have a sub-m icrosecond propagation delay.
Use the ServoStudio Digita l I Os task screen to configure and view the state of
the digital outputs.
