The resulting plot in the Scope screen will look similar to one shown in
Figure 6-14. This plot shows the signal levels of the actual input signal (in volt s) .
As expected, the sine encoder signals are close to 1V peak-to-peak.

When exam ining the sine and cosine signals from a resolver, you need t o
multiply the signals by 0.0000939 (calculated from 1/32768 x 10/ 3.25).

6 .7 Mot ion Units
The CDHD has configurable units of acceleration, velocity and position, for both
linear and rotary motor system s. The unit definitions can be a user preference or
a property of the specific m ot or being used.
Use the ServoStudio M ot ion Units t ask screen for viewing and defining m otion
units.
The following parameters are used to m onitor and manipulate motion units.
