Figure 6 - 2 8 . Active Disable Tim e ( DI STI M E)
Whenever a Disable command is executed, the CDHD immediately changes the
brake output value, and waits the Active Disable Time (DI STIME) before
disabling CDHD cont rol.
Whenever a fault such as STO or Feedback Lost occurs, the drive immediately
toggles the brake output value and disables CDHD cont rol.
6 .1 6 M otor Tem pera t ure Sensor
The CDHD supports both thermostat (on/ off) and thermistor (tem perature
sensitive resistance) m otor tem perature sensors.
The following param eters are used to define the type of motor temperature
sensor and the drive response to an over-tem perature condition.
Va rCom Description
THERM I ndicates whether a m otor over-t em perature fault exists.
THERMODE
Defines how t he drive responds t o a m otor over-
tem perature fault . I f t he m ot or does not have a
t em perature sensor, or if the sensor is not wired, set
THERMODE t o 3, so that the drive will ignore this fault.
THERMTYPE
I ndicates whether the sensor is type PTC (positive
t em perature coefficient) or NTC (negative temperature
coefficient) . When using a thermost at (on/ off m ot or
temperature sensor), set THERMTYPE to 0 to define type
PTC.
THERMREADOUT Reads the resistance of the tem perature sensor.
