5.6.3 Processing steps / vibration
A) Using the manipulators (3) and (7), move the telescopic arm (4) and
the supporting vibrating head frame in order to fork the trunk or tree
branch correctly with the jaws (6).
B) Act on the switch (5) to close the jaws of the vibrating head (6), so as to
clamp it to the shaft. The woody organ must be clamped in the center of
the head jaws, lying in a median position on the rubber pillows.
C) Use switch (8) to select the desired vibration gear:
• the first speed has a lower vibration frequency, recommended for
vibrating large, mature trees.
• the second speed has a higher vibration frequency, recommended for
vibrating small trees or branches with more elastic tissues.
ATTENTION
In order to change the vibration gear, it is absolutely necessary that the
vibrating head is completely stopped, otherwise serious damage may occur
to it and to its hydraulic system.
