5.1.3 Connection to power/power take-off (PTO 540 rpm)
The machine is equipped with an independent hydraulic system.
To operate the machine, however, it is necessary to connect the power take-off
of the machine with that of the tractor by means of a cardan shaft (supplied).
The power transmission cardan, supplied with the machine, must be installed
according to the specific instructions given by the supplier and must comply
with the regulations in force (CE marked and protected) and mounted
according to the specific instructions of the supplier.
• Connect the cardan shaft between the power take-off (1) of the
machine and that of the tractor.
• Hook the safety chains of the protection taking care to position any
safety devices on the tractor and on the machine.
• Inspect the entire machine and check that all operations have been
performed correctly. Before use, always carry out a test on the correct
operation of the hydraulic devices, ensuring that the commands
correspond exactly to those reported in this manual (see paragraph
“5.3 Control panel” pag. 82).

It is forbidden to use damaged or faulty guards of the PTO and of the cardan
shaft.
