6.11.6 Greasing the telescopic extension and the rollers
Carry out a visual check to ensure that the telescopic arm extension is correctly
greased at the sliding runners.
If the extension of the telescopic arm is not correctly greased, lubricate as
follows:
A) Use the controls on the remote control to bring the telescopic arm to
maximum extension.
B) Lower the arm just enough to allow greasing operation from the ground.
C) Safely stop the machine. (*).
D) Use a brush to spread grease over the entire surface of the telescopic
arm extension and jack as indicated by reference (1).
E) Spread some grease also on the pillows indicated by the reference (2).
ATTENTION
Before applying the new grease to the extension of the telescopic arm,
thoroughly clean any residues of the old grease with degreasing agents.
