6.6 Hydraulic system
6.6.1 Hydraulic fittings tightening control
Visually check for oil leaks from fittings, hoses and pipes.
Take prompt action if similar problems occur, checking for proper tightening
and replacing the damaged part if necessary.
ATTENTION
Keep the machine with the engine running only during visual observation.
Intervene at the point of leakage identified only with the machine in safety as
indicated in paragraph “5.7 Stopping the machine” pag. 99.
6.6.2 Oil leaks check
Check the hydraulic system for oil leaks.
DANGER
Leakage of fluid under pressure through small holes are almost invisible and
can have sufficient force to puncture the skin. Use a piece of cardboard or
wood to search for fluid leaks; never use your hands.
