5.7 Stopping the machine
To stop the machine operate as follows:
A) Bring control elements into the neutral position.
B) Turn off the remote control by turning the main selector (battery switch)
anticlockwise.
C) Set the tractor engine to idling speed and leave it running for as long as
it takes for the PTO to reach minimum revs.
D) Disengage the tractor power take-off (PTO).
E) Stop the tractor safely (engine off, ignition key removed and parking
brake applied).
ATTENTION
Only in an emergency should the tractor engine be switched off as quickly
as possible.
5.7.1 Short stops
At the end of each working day park your machine so that it does not present
a hazard.
Take all precautions to prevent danger to persons approaching the machine
when it is not in use.
• Bring the machine in a place where it will not be in the way.
• Using the remote control, lower the arm until the vibrating head rests
on the ground.
• Disengage the tractor power take-off (PTO).
• Stop the tractor safely (engine off, ignition key removed and parking
brake applied).
