4.2.5 Unloading of the machine by means of a platform
• Position the transport vehicle correctly so that its longitudinal axis can
be aligned with that of the platform.
• Align the rear end of the transport vehicle with the platform.
• Secure the wheels of the transport vehicle with wheel chocks.
• Remove the fasteners securing the machine to the transport vehicle
as indicated in paragraph “4.2.3 Anchoring to the transport vehicle”
pag. 63.
• Start the tractor to which you intend to connect the machine and align
it with the transport vehicle, positioning the rear part of the vehicle
facing the platform.
• Translate with the tractor at low speed over the platform, avoiding
sudden movements and acceleration.
• Engage the tractor parking break.
DANGER
Be assisted by a ground operator who can assist with the operations and
report any obstacles or when to stop the tractor translation to avoid incorrect
positioning on the platform.
