Machine use
5.1.5 Steering wheel control engagement (hydraulic
steering aid)
Insert the two quick couplings (1) in the specific attachments of the tractor.
The connection of these clutches allows the use of the hydraulic steering aid
system. They can be disconnected and made floating (free) by opening the
tap (2).
The hydraulic steering assistance is active regardless of the electrical connection
(socket) between the tractor and the machine.
Once the quick couplings have been inserted and, by manually acting on the
tap (closed), the steering of the wheels of the machine is controlled by the
hydraulic distributor of the tractor. By opening the tap, on the other hand, the
wheels remain floating, free and follow the direction impressed by the tractor
by inertia.
Leaving the tap closed as in Figure 46 the steering of the wheels is activated
exclusively through the hydraulic distributor of the tractor.

5.1.6 Engagement of hydraulic brake control (brake aid)
For the operation of the hydraulic braking (brake aid) of the support wheels
of the machine (only in the optional version equipped with brake wheel hubs)
it is necessary to connect the additional hydraulic hose in a hydraulic quick
coupling of the tractor.
The tractor must therefore be equipped with a third (in addition to the 2 used
for steering) free quick coupling.
Braking will be activated by the hydraulic distributor on board the tractor.
When the control valve lever is released, the wheels will become free again.
