correct operation of the machine.
The careful observance of the maintenance operations described in this
paragraph is essential to make the machine’s operation more efficient and
durable.
The maintenance operations are related to the working hours performed by
the machine. Ensure that all defects found during maintenance are promptly
rectified before the machine is used again.
DANGER
Incorrect or poor maintenance can make the machine dangerous for the
operator and for people around it.
CAUTION
If, while inspecting the machine, functional and structural damage is
discovered, remove the machine from service and contact the Manufacturer’s
Assistance Service.
DANGER
Do not allow unauthorized people to repair or perform maintenance on this
machine.
During maintenance or repair operations, the machine must be stationary
and stable on level ground, the tractor to which it is connected must have the
PTO disconnected and must be kept safely switched off (engine off, ignition
key disengaged and parking brake applied).
Unless otherwise indicated, the vibrating head must be fully laid on the
ground.
If the tractor engine needs to be started during particular operations, this will
be indicated in the relevant procedure.
Before starting any maintenance or repair work, affix a warning sign on the
tractor control panel to which the machine is connected; this sign must bear
the following indication: "ATTENTION! MACHINE UNDER MAINTENANCE
OR REPAIR."
