6.10 Vibrating head
ATTENTION
When greasing, before injecting lubricating grease into the grease nipples,
clean them thoroughly to prevent mud, dust or other foreign bodies from
mixing with the grease, thus reducing or even canceling the lubrication effect.
6.10.1 Greasing the vibrating head
Greasing of the vibrating head should be carried out daily when the machine
is cold, before starting the working day; proceed as follows:
A) Use the controls on the remote control to place the vibrating head on
the ground.
B) Safely stop the machine. (*).
C) Completely unscrew the vent valve (2) with a 3 mm hexagonal wrench.
D) Grease the vibrating head from the grease nipple (1).
E) Pump in grease until it flows out of the vent (2).
F) After the grease has escaped, clean the vent and screw the valve (2)
back on.
CAUTION
Use only hand grease and lithium grease for very high speed bearings.
Failure to comply with these instructions will result in irreparable damage to
the vibrating head apparatus.
