Safety
- The driver must avoid risks of instability deriving from the oscillation of
the vibrating head by driving slowly, especially on bends, avoiding any
abrupt manoeuvres and choosing routes that are not rough (ditches,
etc.).
- The machine is maneuvered by the operator through a radio control,
which is added to the tractor controls, which have an effect on the
power take-off and on the steering wheel aid. The remote control
complies with ergonomic standards and allows the operator to carry
out the activity in a comfortable way. The pictographic and descriptive
indications on the radio control are essential conditions for the health
and safety of the operator and prevent damage to the machine.
CAUTION
Failure to comply with these warnings may cause serious damage to people,
animals or property. The Manufacturer declines any responsibility for the non
observance of such requirements.
- It is strictly forbidden to use the machine for uses other than those
expressly provided for in this manual.
- Before starting work, always check that the machine has been properly
coupled and adjusted (*). Check that the machine is in perfect working
order and that all parts subject to wear and/or deterioration are efficient
and intact. Familiarize yourself with the control devices, studying and
memorizing their functions.
- It is absolutely forbidden to drive or have driven the tractor, to which
the machine is connected, by people without adequate training, a valid
and proper driving license and/or qualification in compliance with the
regulatory provisions of the Country of commissioning.
- The operator must ensure that during machine operation no person
and/or obstacle of any kind is in or near the work area.
- Do not stop, walk and/or follow the machine when it is being transported
by the tractor. Do not carry people, animals or property on the machine
or parts thereof.
- Do not stand near the hydraulic lines, since during operation, they may
be under very high pressures.
- A preventive study of the texture of the soil, of any obstacles present
and of the morphology of the plot increases work safety.
- Keep the warning and signalling plates on the machine clean; replace
them if they should deteriorate.
- The machine cannot transit, stop or operate on lands with a gradient
greater than 1%. In any case, the operator must avoid dangerous
manoeuvres that could cause instability to the machine.
NOTE
It is the responsibility of the operator to assess the stability of the tractor-
machine on sloping terrain, according to the limitations given above.
WARNING
If necessary, the operator must mount an anti-rollover structure on the tractor
that complies with the specific regulations in force and therefore such as to
guarantee the driver, in the event of overturning, an adequate deformation
limit volume (DLV).
In case of operation under wide-crowned trees, the operator must mount a
structure against falling objects on the tractor that complies with the specific
standards in force.
- There must be no people in the operating area.
-
The operator, while using the machine, must be equipped with protective
goggles for any falling fruit or branches.
-
If the User and Maintenance Manual of the tractor prescribes special
personal protective equipment (PPE), it is compulsory for the operator
to use such devices. In cases the User and Maintenance Manual of
the tractor prescribes the use of ear defenders, such devices must be
worn even when the tractor is connected to the machine object of this
manual.
-
Never start the tractor from the ground; ignition must only be performed
while sitting in the driver’s seat and observing the procedures prescribed
in the relative User and Maintenance Manual.
- Never leave the driver’s seat of the tractor during machine operation.
