5.1 Safety notes for connecting
Use in hazardous locations

Death or severe personal injury and/or equipment and property damage will result if proper
Hazardous (Classified) Locations installation precautions are not taken.
Restrict use and repair to qualified personnel. Only qualified personnel may carry out work
on the electrical connections.
Before opening the terminal box check that:
● No explosion hazard exists
● Local safety codes and policy requirements have been followed
● All connection leads are potential free
