Redundant transmission paths
With the TIM 1531 IRC a station can be connected to a control center through redundant
paths. To this purpose, the TIM 1531 IRC is used both in the station and in the master
station. The example shows a combination of DSL network and radio as redundant paths.
The data transfer takes place as normal via the main path and in case of a failure via the
substitute path. When the main path returns, the system automatically switches back to this
path.
