STOP HERE IF YOU ARE ONLY CREATING THE KEY FILES.

DCR. PROCEEDING WILL RESET YOUR DCR AND ERASE ALL SAVED PARAMETERS ON DCR.
Reboot DCR (leave USB ash disk inserted).
Wait approximately 5-7 minutes for Green LED blink 7x repeatedly.
• If it does not (e.g. Red LED blink 15x repeatedly), recover FAILED
• If the DCR boots up normally and you can connect via Drive Tool or Debug Tool, then the USB
ash drive was not recognized. Try another brand and/or model.
Remove USB ash disk from DCR and place into your PC.
Reboot DCR.
After ~60-90 seconds, you should be able to connect using Drive Tool and Debug Tool using
default IP conguration.
Now you will be able to reload customer-specic parameter conguration le and SOP le from
the USB ash disk.
Then reboot DCR again.
Parameter 7752 – to create update key and restore current DCR state
1. To save current parameter conguration and current SOP:
– from ToolSuite Drive Tool Host, Conguration → Save AS dto save current conguration
parameter le to your PC
– from ToolSuite Drive Tool Host, Conguration → System Program → Upload System
Program to save current SOP le to your PC.
2. On a PC, remove all secure USB key les from USB ash disk OR rename them.
