4.1 4.1 Introduction
The motor modules in the SINAMICS S system in "Booksize" format are inverters. The
control information is generated in the control unit and distributed to the individual motor
modules via DRIVE-CLiQ.
Depending on the type (single or double), each motor module has one or two DRIVE-CLiQ
interfaces for connecting the motor encoder evaluation (sensor modules).
