Removing and Installing the Control Panel
6.0 Removing and Installing the Control Panel
Use the instructions provided in this section to remove and install the control
panel on the G50 or the G60 S. Replacement of any one of the control panel
components that are classified as a spare part requires approximately 10
minutes.
6.1 Tools Required
Use a number 2 Phillips screwdriver to perform this procedure.
6.2 Removing the Control Panel
Use the following instructions to remove the control panel.
6.2.1 Removing the Rear Cover, the Host Module Cover, and the
Monitor Post Cover
1. Turn off the system and unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
2. From the rear side of the system, remove the two screws from the upper
side of the rear cover shown in Figure 4-22.
3. Pull the upper side of the rear cover carefully toward the rear of the system.
4. Remove two screws from the host module cover and remove the cover
from the host module.

Warning: The G50 and the G60 S contain hazardous voltages that can range from 90 Vac to
264 Vac. These voltages can cause serious injury or death. Only authorized service personnel
are permitted to remove protective covers and access the energized components of this sys-
tem.
