Software Setup
Before printing a message, the proper settings for the physical conditions need to be entered
into Orion. This is typically done during installation by a qualified Squid Ink distributor.

NOTE: This video shows an example of how to perform software setup for a specific
scenario. The desired parameters will vary based on needs, connected equipment, inks used,
Conveyor direction, and other factors.
Entering the Proper Settings
To Enter the Proper Settings:
1. From the Home Screen, select the Settings Screen.
2. Go through each of the options on both Settings pages (see “Settings Screen” on page
78) and input the choices that apply to the Conveyor and other equipment being used.
3. If using user data, follow the directions under “User Data” on page 105.
4. If using a wireless interface, follow the directions under “Wireless Interface” on page
106.
