Distance from Substrate
Generally, the closer the Printhead is to the surface to be printed (substrate), the better the
print quality. Squid Ink recommends keeping the printed surface within 1/8” (3.2 mm) from
the Nozzle Face. While throw distances greater than 1/8” (3.2 mm) are possible, print quality
may be affected.
