ThissettingenablestheObjet1000Plussoftwaretodetermine(justbefore
printing)themostefficientwaytoprintthetray.DigitalMaterialmodeis
usedifthisremovestheneedtoperformtheMaterialReplacement
procedure.Otherwise,HighSpeedmodeisused.
Forexample,ifprintingthetrayrequiresonlyoneofthemodelmaterials
loadedintheprinter,onlythetwoprintheadsusingthatmaterialareused
toprintmodels—DigitalMaterialmode.(HighQualityandHighSpeed
modescallforprintingmodelmaterialwithfourheads,whichwould
requireyoutoperformtheMaterialReplacementprocedure.)
Ontheotherhand,ifprintingthetraycanbedoneusingfourprintheads
withoutrunningtheMaterialReplacementprocedure,HighSpeedmodeis
used.Thisispossibleifallprintheadsaresuppliedwithonemodel
material,orifyouallowprintingwithanarbitrarymixtureofsimilar
materials(seebelow).
