Monitoring and Managing Print Jobs
IntheJob ManagerscreenofObjetStudio,youmonitorandmanagejobs
senttotheprinter.ThereareafewdifferencesbetweenObjetStudioonclient
workstationsandonthecomputerconnecteddirectlytothe3Dprinter—the
serverworkstation.
•ObjetStudioinstalledonaclientcomputeronlydisplaysthequeueand
statusforjobssenttothe3Dprinterserverfromthatcomputer,andit
allowstheusertoeditonlythesejobs.
Note: IfthereareseveralPolyJetprintersonthelocalnetwork,client
computerscanconnecttoanyofthem,butonlyoneatatime.
•ObjetStudioinstalledonthecomputerdirectlyconnectedtoaspecific3D
printer(server),displaysthequeueandstatusforalljobssenttothat3D
printerbytheserverandbyallclientcomputersonthenetwork.Italso
allowseditingandmanipulationofalljobs,andenablesre-sending
previously-printedjobstotheprinter.
IfObjetStudioisnotconnectedtoaprinter(orprinterserver),youcan
preparetrayfilesforanyPolyJetprinter.Later,thesefilescanbeusedby
ObjetStudioontheappropriateprinterserver.

identical.Theonlydifferenceisthatoptionsonlyrelevanttotheserver
workstationaredisabledforclientinstallations.
