7. THE PROGRAMMING
There are two programming sections of the VAP416 alarm panel. These are
"Installer Program" <IP> that can be entered by the installer password and "Master
Program" <MP> that can be entered by master code. By using the installer program,
the running type and the properties can be programmed according to the panel
connection. Basic settings are common with the user program. In the user program,
date, time, telephone numbers, user passwords, authorizations etc. and settings
about using of the alarm can be done. In both programming sections, codes and user
settings can be resettled to the factory defaults. The settings about the panel setup,
only can be resettled to the factory defaults by using the installer program.
The programming logic necessitates to enter to concerned address and write to
proper setting. When you enter to an address, the data in the address is showed.
You can enter a new value at this time. The keypad informs the user about the
situation by sound and lights after right or false entries.
Program addresses of VAP416 panel are grouped according to their missions. The
addresses are 4 digit numbers and the first 2 digits indicates the main subject, the
last 2 digits indicates the sub subject.
