The part numbers are 1=Indoor, 2=Window, 3=Door, 4=Outdoor. The factory
settings are the same for both of true partitioning and SPT
Only first waying in and out delays (<02 01> and <03 01>) are used.
For all actions, CMS and telephone numbers which are adjusted for "the actions
of out of parts" are called.
6. SIMPLE/QUICK PROGRAMMING
This section includes quick and simple programming of VAP416 Alarm Control Panel
by using default values generally. Please do the following steps respectively in order
to complete the installation and programming.
1. Before start programming, control all the panel connections (Keypad, Siren,
Phone line, etc).
2. If all connections are correct, connect AC voltage first and then connect battery
(12V 7Ah).
3. Turn on the power. If the power LED on the board is not ON, check the power
supplies and their connections to the panel.
4. If the power is ON, the trouble LED should be ON in order to show that the
Date/Time is not programmed yet. After entering Date/Time, Trouble led will be
OFF on keypad if there is not any more trouble in the system.
5. If all numbered LEDs are blinking with trouble LED on VPC116/132 keypads or if
there is "Communication error" message on VPC301 LCD keypad, it means that
there is a communication error between keypad and panel. Turn off the power
and then control the panel/keypad connections and ground connection of the
panel.
6.1 SIMPLE PROGRAMMING
In order to do the following simple programming steps, you should enter the installer
program firstly.
6.1.1 Entering installer program
a) Press long to 4 (program) button until you hear long "beep" sound
b) Enter 4 numbered installer code. (Factory value: 9999)
If you entered the installer program successfully, Program LED will be "ON" on
LED keypad or "INSTALLER MENU" message will be displayed on LCD
keypad. If not, press “x” (Exit) button first and then try again
In installer program
1. For entering the time. (Example: Time is 9:34)
On VPC 116/132 LED keypad
After you pressed "0101", press "0934" and then "√" button.
On LCD keypad (By using up and down arrow keys)
Enter BASIC SETTINGS"√"→CLOCK SETTING"√"→CLOCK, press "0934" and
then "√" button
2. For entering the date. (Example: Date is 29/09/2006)
On VPC 116/132 LED keypad
After you pressed "0102", press "290906" and then "√" button.
On LCD keypad (By using up and down arrow keys)
Enter BASIC SETTINGS"√"→CLOCK SETTING"√"→DATE, press "290906" and
then "√" button.
Note: After completing 1.and 2.steps trouble message should disappear
