8.3 ZONE SETTINGS
8.3.1. Zone Wiring
The zone must be set according to the type and connection type of detector. The
setting can be done form the detector connections. The type of contact can be
selected as NC or NO. The connection type can be selected without resistor, single
end of line resistor or double end of line resistor. The zones which are not available
can be closed. If Z1...Z16 are doubled the doubled zones are doubled. That is if Z1 is
active also Z17 is active. The settings are below;

1.option=NC=on, NO=off
4.option=Zone enable/disable
(*) Zone expansion module and zone doubling can not be used together.

8.3.2. Assign A Zone To A Partitions
Each zone can be assigned to A,B,C,D. A zone can be assigned to only one
partition. There can be a couple of zones of a partition. For the factory setting SPT is
closed and zones are related to a partition. The meaning o these selections in these
addresses are below;
Zone 1 Partition
ABCD: 1.option=A, 2.option=B, 3.option=C, 4. option=D
SPT: 1.option=Interior, 2.option=Window, 3.option=Door, 4.option=Exterior
If it is used with SPT, only 1=Interior is recommended setting. Page 30 for
the details.
