8.3.3. Zone Type
The zone type can be selected according to place and device type the code which
will send to CMS is defined by panel for a zone only one type can be selected. The
selections of Entry/Exit and Follower can be done by using zone adjustment.

Free Zone
0
This zone has no effect on alarm events. It can be
used to activate PGM(s)
Door
1
Used with magnetic contacts that is connected doors. If
Panel is configured as Smart Partition, Panel
automatically assigns that zone to Door Partition.
Window
2
Used with magnetic contacts that is connected
windows. If Panel is configured as Smart Partition,
Panel automatically assigns that zone to Window
Partition.
Interior
3
Used with interior areas. If this zone is used as follower
zone, you should select follower zone option in
address of 23 0X (X= zone number).
Exterior
4
Used with detectors that is connected out of home.
24 Hour
5
This zone alarms if panel armed or disarmed when
zone is active.
Fire
6
This zone alarms if panel armed or disarmed when
zone is active. To silent alarm from this zone enter
user code or press 0 (long).
Panic
7
This zone alarms if panel armed or disarmed when
zone is active and communicator sends Panic alarm
code to Central monitor station.
Duress
8
This zone alarms if panel armed or disarmed when
zone is active and communicator sends Duress alarm
code to Central monitor station.
