Installation
See Figures 5-35 through 5-39.
Figure 5-35
1. Install a new grease seal (1) in the seal cover (2).

2. Clean the mating surfaces of the seal cover (5) and
bearing housing (3), and apply a thin film of Loctite
®
Aviation Gasket Sealer to the surfaces.
3. Pack bearing (4) with grease that meets or exceeds
NLGI Grade 2 LB specifications before installation.

4. Install bearing and housing assembly (6).
5. Install locking collar (8) with the recessed side (9)
toward the bearing. Tighten the set screw (7).

6. Install nut (10). Tighten until nut just contacts
bearing.
