Circuit Breakers Test
See Figure 4-36.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove circuit breaker. (See “Circuit Breakers” on
page 4-88.)

NOTE
Be sure circuit breaker is reset prior to testing.
3. Connect test leads to terminals (1 and 2).
4. Check for continuity.
Is continuity indicated?
YES Circuit breaker is good.
NO Circuit breaker is faulty; replace circuit
breaker.
Thermal Circuit Breakers Test
See Figure 4-37.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Allow engine to cool completely.
3. Set the multimeter to 20 volts DC.
4. Connect the black test lead to the negative
(–) battery terminal.

5. Connect the red test lead to each of the circuit
breaker terminals (1 and 2).
Is battery voltage indicated?
YES Circuit breaker is good.
NO Circuit breaker is faulty; replace circuit
breaker.
Main 50-Amp Thermal Circuit Breaker Test
6. Connect the red test lead to each of the circuit
breaker terminals (3 and 4).
Is battery voltage indicated?
YES Circuit breaker is good.
NO Circuit breaker is faulty; replace circuit
breaker.
