Footrest Floor
Removal and Installation
See Figures 9-19 through 9-22.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove steering tower. (See “Steering Tower” on
page 7-16.)
3. Remove work light kit (if equipped). (See “Work Light
Kit” on page 9-17.)
4. Block both sides of rear wheels using suitable wheel
blocks.

5. Disengage park brake lever (1).
NOTE
Note orientation of spring (3) before disassembly.
6. Remove nut (8), washer (2), spacer (7), spring (3),
flat washer (6), screw (5), and park brake lever (1).
7. Remove pedal grip (4).

8. Support brake pedal (17) and remove four carriage
bolts (9) and flange nuts (10). Rotate and lower the
brake pedal to separate the brake pedal from the
footrest floor (21).
9. Remove two nuts (13), lock washers (14), flat
washers (15), and screws (16).
10. Remove park brake switch (12) and shim (11).
11. Remove two nuts (18), lock washers (19), and
carriage bolts (20).

12. Remove two screws (22) and traction pedal (25).
13. Remove three carriage bolts (23) and flange nuts
(24).
