Installation Notes
• Install hydraulic oil tank by reversing the order of
removal.
• Make sure new O-rings are in place before installing
hoses on fittings.
• Tighten suction strainer (15) to 29 lb-ft (40 N·m).
• Tighten tank mounting screws (7 and 12) to 16 lb-ft
(22 N·m).
• Tighten straight fitting (6) to 167 lb-ft (227 N·m).
• Tighten 45° fitting (4) to 110 lb-ft (149 N·m).
• Tighten 90° fitting (2) to 90 lb-ft (122 N·m).
• Tighten suction hose (5) to 130 lb-ft (176 N·m).
• Tighten oil cooler hose (3) to 65 lb-ft (88 N·m).
• Tighten manifold return tube to 23 lb-ft (31 N·m).
• Refill hydraulic oil tank. (Refer to “Safety, Operation,
and Maintenance Manual” for oil specifications.)
• Start engine. Check hydraulic oil tank for leaks and
repair as necessary.
• Check hydraulic oil level and add if necessary.
When connecting fittings to the tank, be sure to
hold the tank fitting with the proper wrench. If the
proper wrench is not used, the fitting in the tank
might break loose from the tank and cause it to
leak.
