Repair
ROPS
Removal and Installation
See Figure 9-2.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Remove screw (1), washer (2) and clamp (3).
3. Remove two screws (4), lock washers (5) and flat
washers (6). Move breather tube (8) away from the
ROPS (7).
4. If the work lights are installed, disconnect the light
harness connector from the mower harness.
5. Label and disconnect wires for the 12 volt accessory
outlet (9).
6. Support the ROPS (7) using a suitable lifting device.
7. Remove the four side ROPS mounting bolts (10) and
AV washers (11). Remove four top ROPS mounting
bolts (12) and washers (13).
8. Remove ROPS (7).
Installation Notes
• Install ROPS by reversing the order of removal.
• Tighten ROPS mounting bolts (10 and 12) to 65 lb-ft
(88N·m).
Hood
Removal and Installation
See Figure 9-3.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Use a tool to release latch (1). Open and support
hood (16) using a suitable lifting device.
3. Remove screw (2), lock washer (3), two washers (4)
to disconnect hood strap (5) from hydraulic tank.
4. Remove remove four screws (6), lock washers (7)
and washers (8). Lift hood (16) off the mower.
5. Remove four screws (9) and nuts (10).
6. Remove two screws (11), four washers (12), two nuts
(13) and latch (1).
7. Remove screw (14), nut (15) and hood strap (5).
8. Remove four screws (17) and two hinges (18) from
hood plate (19).
9. Remove two screws (20), four washers (21), two nuts
(22) and latch keeper (23).
