Operator Platform
Removal and Installation
See Figures 9-10 through 9-11.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove steering column. (See “Steering Column” on
page 7-8.)
3. Remove seat assembly. (See “Seat Assembly” on
page 9-9.)
4. Remove traction pedal. (See “Traction Pedal” on
page 9-6.)

5. Rotate two 1/4 turn screws (1) 90° and remove rear
access panel (2).
6. Rotate two 1/4 turn screws (3) and remove floor
access panel (4).
7. Remove MCU. (See “MCU” on page 4-74.)
8. Note how the wire harness is routed through the
operator platform openings.
9. Label and disconnect mower harness connections as
needed to remove harness from operator platform.

10. Remove eight screws (5) and two end covers (6).
11. Remove four screws (7), washers (8) and flange nuts
(9).
12. Remove four screws (10), four washers (11) and two
nuts (12).
13. Using a suitable lifting device, remove operator
platform from the machine.
Installation Notes
• Install the operator platform by reversing the order of
removal.
