7.6 Downloading The Firmware

(4) During data transmission, the screen below appears with a progress indicator at the bottom.
When the downloading has been successfully completed, the message below appears
NOTES:
1. When any other devices are connected to the PC’s USB ports, the print test may not be able to be
performed. When “USB’ OPEN ERROR” is displayed, check if the following devices are connected to
the PC.
2. Never turn off the printer nor remove the battery from the printer during data transmission.
Doing so may cause an error.
3. If an error occurs during downloading, retry from Step (1).
