–EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM FRONT BUMPER

REPLACEMENT
HINT:
Installation is in the reverse order of the removal. But the installation is indicated only when it has a point.
1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
(a) Remove the 4 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver,
remove the 4 clips and engine under cover.
2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
(a) Remove the 3 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver, remove the 3 clips and engine under cover.
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
(a) Remove the screw and a part of the front fender liner LH.
HINT:
Remove the screw and the front fender liner LH within the range
that the front bumper cover can be removed.
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH
5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
(a) Remove the 2 screws and 2 bolts.
(b) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
(c) Disengage the hooks and remove the front bumper cover.
(d) Disconnect the fog lamp connectors (on the fog lamp op-
tion only).
6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB–ASSY
(a) Disconnect the cooler thermistor connector and wire harness clips.
(b) Remove the 6 bolts and reinforcement.
8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB–ASSY UPPER
(a) Remove the 8 bolts, 4 nuts and frontbumper reinforcement sub–assy upper.
9. REMOVE FOG LAMP ASSY LH (See page 65–12)
10. REMOVE FOG LAMP ASSY (See page 65–12)
11. REMOVE COOLER (AMBIENT TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR
12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENTION MOUNTING BRACKET (Only TMC made)
13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER LOWER (Only TMC made)
