Toner Smears
There are faded or completely non-printed lines along the page in the direction of the paper travel
from the leading edge to the trailing edge.
Initial Actions
• Check that the media settings match the media in use.
• Check that the media is dry and in good condition.
• If the problem is that the background on the face of the printed page is stained refer to Smears on
Printed Page.
