S Check the wire harness for continuity.
Refer to “CIRCUIT DIAGRAM”.
S Is the wire harness OK?
YES
NO
2. Fuel sender
S Check the fuel sender for continuity.
Refer to “The fuel level indicator light fails to
come on”.
S Is the fuel sender OK?
YES
Replace the fuel
pump.
Replace the multi-
function meter.
NOTE:

TROUBLESHOOTING
The warning light starts to indicate the
self-diagnosis sequence.
Check:
1. Fuel sender
2. Oil level switch
S Before troubleshooting, remove the following
part(-s):
1) Seats
2) Fuel tank
3) Lower cowling
S Troubleshoot with the following special
tool(-s).
