Description:
Configures the IP address or domain name of the syslog server when exporting log to the
syslog server.
Example:
static.syslog.server = 192.168.1.100
Note: It works only if the value of the parameter “static.syslog.mode” is set to 1 (Server). If
you change this parameter, the IP phone will reboot to make the change take effect.

Phone User Interface:

To configure the phone to export the system log to a syslog server via web user interface:
1. Click on Settings->Configuration.
2. Mark the Server radio box in the Export System Log field.
3. Enter the IP address or domain name of the syslog server in the Server Name field.
For example, the IP address of your syslog server is 192.168.1.100.
4. Click Confirm to accept the change.
A dialog box pops up to prompt “Warning: Some settings you changed take effect when
you restart your machine! Do you want to reboot now?”. The configuration will take effect
after a reboot.
