Antenna Connection
Screw the enclosed antenna into the SMA antenna connector. Tighten the antenna connector
gently with your hand, never use a wrench!
SIM Card Installation
Insert a SIM card (Mini SIM size) into one of the SIM slots on the device bottom side. Push the SIM
card to fix its position in the SIM slot. A properly inserted SIM card sticks out slightly from the
slot. Check whether the SIM card has been inserted properly by examining its outline above the
slot. The other slot is used for insertion of a backup SIM card. To remove the SIM card, push the
SIM card again to loosen it, slide out a little and make it ready for removal.
Remember to set provider services such as call forwarding, call barring, preferred networks, SMS
center, etc. in your mobile phone, for example, before inserting the SIM card in 2N
®
EasyGate IP.
Unlock the SIM card by entering the PIN on the appropriate SIM card in the Network
configuration section (refer to 5.2.1 SIM1and 5.2.2 SIM2).

Warning
The device may be operated in a temperature range of 0 °C – 50 °C if equipped with
the provided batteries, or at temperatures outside this range without these
batteries. Remember to use batteries with increased thermal resistance in order to
make the backup function work. You can connect an external battery with
increased thermal resistance or use an external battery placed under convenient
temperature conditions.
Use only the recommended NiMH AA battery type for backup. These storage
batteries are the only ones approved for use!If other batteries are used, there is
a danger of device damage or even explosion!
At the end of service life, the batteries must be disposed of as hazardous
waste in accordance with the local regulations.

Verify your provider's SIM card settings too to make 2N

EasyGate IP work properly.
