188 CHAPTER 8: DEFINING WLAN
■ Remove — Removes stations associated with the access point. The
possible field values for:
■ Checked — Removes the selected WLAN stations
■ Unchecked — Maintains the WLAN stations.
■ MAC Address — Displays the MAC address attached to the WLAN
station.
■ Type — Displays the WLAN station type.
■ IP Address— Displays the WLAN station’s IP address.
■ State — Indicates the station’s current status. The possible field values
are:
■ Associated — Indicates that the station is currently associated with
the wireless network but has not been authorized and
authenticated.
■ Authorized — Indicates that the station is currently in the
authorization process and waiting for authentication.
■ Authenticated — Indicates that the station has been
authenticated.
■ Access Point— Displays the access point associated with the wireless
station.
■ SSID — Displays the SSID associated with the wireless network.
■ Security — Displays Security suite used to protect station
communications.
■ VLAN — Displays the VLAN on which the WLAN station is located.
■ Session Time — Indicates the amount of time the station has been
connected to the access point.
