Backing Up and
Restoring System
Files
There are two types of files, firmware files and configuration files. The
firmware files manage the device, and the configuration files configure
the device for transmissions. Only one type of download can be
performed at any one time. To download a file: The Backup & Restore
Configurations Page contains parameters for downloading system files.
To download System Files:
1 Click Administration > Backup & Restore Configurations > Restore.
The Backup & Restore Configurations Page opens:

The Backup & Restore Configurations Page contains the following fields:
■ Download via TFTP — Enables initiating a download via the TFTP
server.
■ Download via HTTP — Enables initiating a download via the HTTP
server or HTTPS server.
■ Configuration Download — Indicates that the download is for
configuration files.
■ TFTP Server IP Address — Specifies the TFTP Server IP Address from
which the configuration files are downloaded.
