3.3.3 Voltage limiter unit (VLU)
The VLU is used for applications that require dynamic changes between
driving and braking mode.
During braking, the energy is dissipated in liquid-cooled resistors. The
resistors are controlled by IGCT semiconductors and protected
against overload.
