7. Test O

monitoring and alarm:
⚫ Disassemble O
2
sensor, make sure that O
2
takes up 21% of room Air according to the
test result.
⚫ Set low O
2
alarm to 50%, make sure low O
2
alarm occurs.
⚫ Set low O
2
alarm to 21%, make sure low O
2
alarm is eliminated.
⚫ Assemble O
2
sensor in breathing system.
⚫ Set high O
2
alarm to 50%.
⚫ Push O
2
flush button to inflate bellows.
⚫ Make sure high O
2
alarm is initiated.
⚫ Set high O
2
alarm to 100%, make sure high O
2
alarm is eliminated.
⚫ Put O
2
sensor in pure oxygen; make sure that O
2
takes up 100% according to the test
result.
8. Test low minute volume alarm:
⚫ Return to alarm menu.
⚫ Set low minute volume alarm limit to 16.0L/min.
⚫ Make sure low minute volume alarm occurs.
⚫ Return to alarm menu.
⚫ Set low minute volume alarm limit to 10.0L/min, make sure low minute volume alarm is
eliminated.
9. Test high PAW alarm:
⚫ Set high PAW below peak PAW.
⚫ Make sure high PAW alarm occurs.
