5.6.1.7. Pressure control ventilation with Volume Guaranteed (PCV-VG) --Optional
In Pressure Controlled Volume Guaranteed Ventilation (PCV-VG) mode, the ventilator provides
ventilation to the patient, and the patient cannot trigger ventilation. The ventilator delivers a
tapered flow to the patient during the inspiratory time at the set frequency, and the set tidal volume
is achieved with the smallest possible pressure. Inspiratory and expiratory switches according to
the preset I: E and frequency. The patient's minute ventilation remains constant.
PCV-VG ventilation mode setup parameters:
Tidal volume (V
T
): 20~300mL (child), 20~1500mL (adult) , 10-~1500(adult optional);
Breathing frequency (Freq): 4~100bpm;
Breathing ratio (I: E): 4:1~1:8;
Positive End-Expiratory Pressure (PEEP): OFF, 3~30cmH
2
O;
Inspiratory Slope Time (T
SLOPE
): 0~2s;
Maximum pressure (P
max
): 10~70cmH
