Installation
3. Remove the three silver screws holding the three
wires to the terminal block terminals. Remove
green ground screw holding power cord ground
wire
to
rear bulkhead. Save all
four
screws.
Loosen the strain relief screw and pull the cord or
wires out through the rear
of
the dryer.

4. Attach one end
of
green ground wire (supplied in
accessories bag) to rear bulkhead using green
ground screw removed in step
3.
IMPORTANT: Do
not
use
power
screwdriver
when
tightening
ground
screw
or
terminal
block screws.

5.
Use the three silver screws removed in step 3 to
attach the wires from the new power cord and the
other end
of
the green ground wire to the terminal
block as shown in
Figure 25.
NOTE:
Green
ground
wire
must
be
connected
to
center
(neutral)
terminal
of
terminal
block.

Tighten all screws and reinstall access cover
removed
in
step 2.
IMPORTANT:
Fallure
to tighten these screws
firmly
may
result
in
wire fallure
at
the
terminal
block.
7. Secure the strain relief to the power cord,
or
wires, where they enter the dryer cabinet.
8.
Check the continuity
of
the ground connection
before plugging the cord into an outlet. Use an
acceptable indicating device connected to the
center grounding pin
of
the plug and the green
screw on the back
of
cabinet.
9. Reinstall access cover and screw.

Restore power to dryer.
