12 Cleaning, maintenance and repairs
WARNING

Unintentional lowering of the machine raised using the trac-
tor's three-point hydraulic system.
Unintentional lowering of raised, unsecured machine parts.
Unintentional start-up and rolling of the tractor-machine
combination.
Secure the tractor and machine to prevent unintentional starting and
rolling away before performing any cleaning, servicing or mainte-
nance work on the machine.
WARNING
Risk of contusions, cutting, catching, drawing in and knocks
through unprotected danger points!
• Mount protective equipment, which you removed when cleaning,
maintaining and repairing the machine.
• Replace defective protective equipment with new equipment.
12.1 Securing the connected machine
Before working on the machine, place the ma-
chine connected to the tractor on the sustainer
(
Fig. 193/1) to prevent unintentional lowering of
the tractor's lower link.
