5.19 Creation of tramlines
The tramline selection allows the creation of tramlines at preselected
intervals on the field. To set the different tramline distances appropri-
ate tramline rhythms have to be entered into the AMATRON 3.
When creating the tramlines:
• The tramline circuit on the distributor head
uses sliders (Fig. 92/1) to block the seed
feeding lines to the seed lines (Fig. 92/2) of
the tramline coulters
• The tramline coulters do not deposit any
seeds on the ground.
Seed supply to the tramline coulters is interrupt-
ed as soon as the electric motor (Fig. 92/3) clos-
es the appropriate seed tubes (Fig. 92/2) in the
distributor head.

When creating a tramline, the tramline counter shows the figure "0" in
the AMATRON 3. The seed quantity reduced when creating a tram-
line is adjustable. It is necessary to equip the machine with electrical
seed volume adjustment or full dosing.
A sensor (Fig. 92/4) checks whether the sliders (Fig. 92/1), which
open the and close the seed line tubes (Fig. 92/2), are working
properly.
If the setting is wrong, the AMATRON 3 emits an alarm.
